speed up hard drives using a Free Disk Defragmenter Smart Defrag

When you want to maintain a Windows computer, defragmenting the hard drive is one of the most important maintenance tasks. because Disk fragmentation leads to system slowdowns, PC crashes, slow startups and shutdowns So, you need an effective application to defrag hard disks and keep your pc run smoothly.

Why I need to defrag my hard disks?

Hard disks are the slowest component in your computer. Therefore fragmented disks often become a bottleneck of the system performance. Besides causing slowdowns, fragmentation makes the disk drive heads move too much when reading files which leads to freeze-ups and system crashes.

What is Defragmentation ?

Defragmentation is a process that reduces the amount of fragmentation in file systems by physically organizing the contents of the disk to store the pieces of each file close together and contiguously.
